Sespe Creek Ranch Spirits                            11/21/21

I bought my ranch in 2005 after I sold Vetronix.  It was called Rainbow Ranch and had a long history.  It was homesteaded in 1894, later sold to the Lathrop family who owned it for many years.  They sold it to Rory Calhoun, the movie star in the 1950’s, and he later sold it to the Boy Scouts.  In 1979 a fellow named Stanford Drucker bought it and he kept it until he fell into ill health and he sold it to a middle-aged hippie woman.  She couldn’t handle it and sold it to me and I renamed it Sespe Creek Ranch.

Stanford Drucker was the most colorful of the owners since he was into spiritualism and was convinced that the ranch was a safe place for spirits.  The hippie woman he sold it to also felt the same.

After I bought it I had Stanford out to the ranch to show me around.  We were driving past a field of brush and he said, “Stop, I have to show you something”.  We hiked through 5’ high brush and then he stopped and said “There it is”.  It was a circle of stones and then he told me the story which followed a write-up he did on it which I later found in the ranch documents.
